Specialist presents Transitional Visions, a collaborative group exhibition of work by students from Cornish College of the Arts. Continuing a tradition of community-building with Northwest artists, Specialist has partnered with juniors studying collaborative art-making practices from Cornish’s interdisciplinary Art department.  Employing different experimental processes, these artists worked together in small groups to identify intersections within their emerging art practices. This show is the result of 15 weeks of independent investigations and communal cross-pollination.

Spanning different media and diverse ways of working, Transitional Visions addresses themes of consumption, identity, alternate realities and transformation. Exhibiting artists include Andy DeLapp, Sarah Hamzic, Quianna McLaughlin, Lucia Orr, Vera Patrina, Rubina Postma, Mackenzy Raco, Sarah Renshaw, Torreya Simon, Mira Soutos, Madison Wareham, Lydia Watters, and Alissa Williams.
